This has a nice Country flavor, and would likely benefit from falling under that header rather than folk. It has excellent drive and I think the instrumental version would have great potential as a film or TV scene backdrop. The vocal is steady with an outstanding blend on the backing instruments. Overall fun listen.

I love the sound of the vocals and the sound of the drums and the bass guitar as they interact together, I also think the lead guitar has a good sound. Sounds a little like Charlie Pride.

Can Anyone See
J.C. Ashbaker (c)2006
909-793-0245

Can anyone see
Can anyone be so blinded
Does anyone see what's coming around

Does anyone know
Can anyone show you how to
Leave your head in the clouds and walk on the ground

--Refrain--
They read it in a book and then they
Watch it on TV
Everybody's looking, baby but,
Can anyone see
---------------------------------------

Does anyone care
Does anyone share a feeling
Does anyone look like they've seen a sign

Will anyone live
To open up their heart and give
Does, anyone here know how to be kind

--Refrain--
There are just too many churches and they
All can't set you free
Everybody's searching baby, but
Can anyone see
---------------

Does anyone hear
All the hatred, all the fear
You're not always right, but you're never all wrong

So why can't we all learn
To show our cheeks, but let them turn, yeah
There must be a way to just get along

--Refrain--
I've heard a lot of talking
But I see more apathy
Everybody's gawking, baby but,
Can anyone see
