There were dads, there were moms
Aunts and cousins, friends, here and gone
There was even some thought, to bringing the dogs

There were tears, there were fears
But their smiles stretched ear to ear
Cuz there's a new light waiting to shine
There's a new love all yours and mine

---Chorus---
There were screams in between
The treasure at the end of the cord
And there's a little bitty person where
There was no person before
----------------

There were meds, there were beds
There were wires sticking out of her head
It won't be long now, till push come to love

And with love there was blood
There was everything you're thinking of
Then a sweet little voice was singing her song
You call me Marlee, I'll call you mom

--Repeat chorus--

This is a neat little story about a tight knit growing family. It has a nice bouncy flow and the lyrics nicely match the melody. The vocalist did a nice job and got the idea across, It reminded me of my family as I grew up. I liked the instrumentation and the arrangement.

Had vibes of jimmy buffet to me. Thanks for sharing

Very nice got a kind of a Jimmy Buffet feel from the vocals and guitar. Well written with quality lyrics. Thanks for sharing it.

I've heard some of your other songs before and I'm always amazed at the professional sound you get

Clean production. Positive vibes.

Very witty and well done take on the subject. Straight, brief, and to the point. Very well written, arranged and performed.

Lovely tune with a cute story in the lyrics. Nice vocal, a bit of Johnny Cash there.

Again great vocal..you have such pleasing voice, your female back up vocal is also great, the lyrics all about a new life coming into this world. I hope people listen to the lyrics because they are great.

Wow, I really like this song! I've never heard a song written about the birth of a baby quite like this before. "Little Bitty Person where there was no person before." GREAT and original hook, so memorable and sweet. I like the way your song was "real", blood and screams and all, but you said it in such a fun way, it wasn't gory or anything, just as real as it gets, and it put a smile on my face for sure. "Push comes to love" was an excellent play on words. "Treasure at the end of the cord" beautiful and so original. "Beds and meds" great internal rhyme. Just really well done! I loved it! I hope Marlee's parents loved it and I plan to send it to some friends of mine who just had a little girl named Marlee.

Well, this is fun - had no idea what it would be about when it started, but the lyrics lead you through the scenario very ably. Clever and quite original.

Bright country ballad about the arrival of a baby. Warm, melodic vocal and a well-played, backing.

THIS IS JUST A REALLY NEAT SONG--I LOVE IT!--CHEERS--JOE/HAS A LITTLE JIMMY BUFETT flavor to it!

Very nice production, love that! Very smooth vocal... great voice. The female background vocals were very good on matching the lead. Very good story, it keeps me hanging on!
