Lyrics

Said And Done
© 2009 Words and Music by Warren Hein

Verse
You look great... come on in from that cold doorway
Toss your coat and hat, we know you'll stay
It was just a fight, but with that icy storm outside
The wind has blown our nasty words away

Just one hug melts our fear
We abandon smoke and mirrors
As we blink away the tears

Chorus
Your lips caress my face, there's no disgrace
Back together we're still one,
All said and done
Those crazy things we did, the hurt we hid
Now we know we've just begun
All said and done
It's said and done

Verse
We learned one truth, no love is bullet proof
Our stupid fights fade to new love songs
No one's wrong, this house is where we both belong
We'll share one soul all night long

Candles flicker 'round our room
You explore my skin so smooth
You remember every move

This is the most realistic "kiss and make up" song I think I have ever heard. It's not all mush; it has practical substance. That is what is needed in a marriage because "all those crazy things we did/hid" (great rhyming!). Also love truth/bullet-proof. "the wind has blown our nasty words away...love it! Excellent, original, fresh lyric writing. So nice to hear that originality in a sea of "same-old/same-old". The song tells the story so well. Very refreshing and a little sexy too, but in a nice way. Instrumentation is nice, good mix and production. Bravo!

Great song and tells a nice story...... love it

Said and Done is a uniquely put together record. It drew us in to the end. At first it sounded like a folk song leading into a bit of bluegrass style country/pop. Highly entertaining and most enjoyable to Ear ;-) Great Job, TSW.
