I loved the instrumentation of this song from the first note. It really brought this song to life. The recording, vocals and lyrics were all great!! This was a great song to listen to!! The lyrics and music kept me engaged the whole time. Nicely done.

This is a good country barroom jukebox song.sets your toes tapping while you drink your beer. It has the good old style sound.the vocalist is well suited to this style and I really like it.i would dance to this song on the old sawdust strewn floor. Great fiddle work as well a good improv on the guitar. Nice work.

Lyrics

The Other Side

Your beauty is beyond compare
Your charms you know they always take me there
But just because I hang around
I'm not the kind of guy that tends to settle down

I've tried so much to mend my ways
But it's become a struggle each and every day
No matter how it feels inside
I always think it's greener on the other side

I don't have to try hard to see
You really do bring out the very best in me
I know that life can be unfair
And heaven knows you've always had your share

It's getting tougher to explain
So let's enjoy the good times and forget the pain
No matter how it feels inside
I always think it's greener on the other side

Don't give up, please let us be
I'm beginning to feel a change in me

(lead break)

Don't give up, please let us be
I'm beginning to feel a change in me

Your beauty is beyond compare
Your charms you know they always take me there
But just because I hang around
I'm not the kind of guy that tends to settle down

I've tried so much to mend my ways
But it's become a struggle each and every day
No matter how it feels inside
I always think it's greener on the other side

No matter how it feels inside
I always think it's greener on the other side

Yea, yea
