Story Behind The Song
written while watching President Bush's first address to the nation after 9/11, sitting on my counter in the middle of the day; I was pondering my brother's impending divorce after his wife of 4 years and high school sweetheart committed infidelity, and somewhat thinking of my high school sweetheart. More than that, though, the thoughts of all the wives that had just said goodbye to their husbands that morning as they rushed off to work, and so one...life is fragile and love is all we truly have to hold on to.
Song Description
- no one could ever take that person's place; the physical presence of the love may be gone, but some hope remains - and in the end, isn't that true love?

Lyrics
And I, wait for you
I just can't, see the truth
That you don't know
And I, want for you
Everything I, I can give to-
You don't know
You - don't know
I want to believe
That you're waiting still for me
But I can't help but think
I'm wrong
So I, wait for you
You won't come back-
That's the truth
Stil I, wait - for you
Yet I - wait - for you
I will wait - for you
