Story Behind The Song
This song came about after the artist had attended a number of funerals, where several of the loved ones were experiencing the pain of guilt ,as opposed to the pain of loss;
because of the way they had treated the dearly departed in life. They realized all to late, that their love and concerns would have been more effective while the person was still alive.
Song Description
A slow, flowing,philosophical look at how the human species, takes one of it's most valuable assets for granted; (the love and well being of it's dearest loved ones). As we have all experienced in our lives,(the death of a loved one), which we have no control over,but we fail to control the very thing that we have complete control over, and that is how we treat each other while we are still alive in the physical world.
