Story Behind The Song
The original idea was written in 1985 on 11th avenue in Oshkosh Wisconsin hence the title.
Song Description
Song opens with what sounds like something you've heard of before in an opening piano motif. The bass picks it up with a tubular bells playing a descending blues scale over the top. The techno sounds generated from this midi file are purposeful but the piece is currently being performed by my high school jazz band. I play alto and tenor sax on left and right channels and put flute right in the middle.
