Song Description

A sensual E-major 4/4 world-beat groove. It's the same melodic motif played over and over with slight variations to the backdrop. On this one we hear a delightfully exotic combination of flute, tamboura, sitar, congas, electric violin, and a background wash of synthesizers for color. You can even dance to it, hopefully with someone you don't mind getting really close to. On a few of my instrumental pieces the initial inspiration comes from an image I find on a greeting card; this is one of those. (I usually buy the card.) In this case it's a drawing of a girl dancing alone high on some Himamayan cliff with a gigantic full moon behind her, lighting up the see-through garment she's wearing.
