Electro-acoustic piece for pre-recorded track and live string quartet. The track consists of samples, some processed, that are homogenous with the string timbres. This composition grew out of the sound of a creaking door hinge that I sampled myself. The track is rhythmic enough to function as a conductor. Full piece is 13 minutes.
