THis was a wonderful surprise!Original, special, atmospheric, poetic, magical.Loved the change of pace and mood,as well as the sound being earthy, rootsy.Just the right sound you got from the acoustic guitar.

    - Rob Byron

Love this tune....very free form. I like the instrumentation and arrangement alot. I really dig your voice....mucho. This is really a PRO song and well done and conceived. I especially like all the different movements and changes in the song. The unison chorus in the end was very effective and really ties the song together. Like a fine abstract painting, this song begs to be re-visited....which I will do when I find out who you are.

    - Chet Nichols
Lyrics

v1.
Miss my hustling streets
With their cobbles and their mess
Miss my vulgar vendors
With the colours they possess

v2.
Miss my neon signs
With their nakes souls
Beckoning people to come in
People they don't even know

ch.
Miss my dream like sisters
With their verses and their smiles
Turning sullen seasons
Into vibrant skies
Miss my golden heath
With its swaying blurred emotions
Miss my lacework highways
Spiders webs in motion

v3.
Miss my frozen and bitter skies
They are biting at their best
I am breaking
I am molting
I've been shaken
I've been sapped

ch.
Miss my dream like sisters
With their accents and their styles
Sharing desperate moments
Sharing desperate miles
Miss my golden heath
With its swaying blurred emotions
Miss my lacework highways
Spiders webs in motion

brg.1
And I'll come home
I'll lay my arm across that smoky windowsill
And I'll come home
Shake me out of these roots I'm in

x2

brg 2.
Shake me out of these roots I'm in
Shake me out of these roots I'm in
Shake me out of these roots I'm in
Shake me out of these roots I'm in
