Lyrics
CHRISTMAS KIDS
We-ta-ta, oh-la-la, oh-Ma-ma, oh-Pa-pa.
We-ta-ta, oh-la-la, oh-my-Pa-pa.
Jimmie and Timmie were the best of friends, you see.
They'd grown up together since they were three.
Sometimes they'd fight, but it never did last.
Being good friends, they made up really fast.
We-ta-ta, oh-la-la, oh-Ma-ma, oh-Pa-pa.
We-ta-ta, oh-la-la, oh-my-Pa-pa.
Christmas, that is the time for gifts,
they both agreed to spend ten dollars each.
Timmie spent ten dollars or more,
Jimmie bought Tim's at the big dollar store.
We-ta-ta, oh-la-la, oh-Ma-ma, oh-Pa-pa.
We-ta-ta, oh-la-la, oh-my-Pa-pa.
Jimmie and Timmie were skating real fast.
Neither one wanted to come in dead last.
When Timmie fell, Jimmie said "Let's skate some more".
"No" said Timmie "Me ______ is too sore."
We-ta-ta, oh-la-la, oh-Ma-ma, oh-Pa-pa.
We-ta-ta, oh-la-la, oh-my-Pa-pa.
They went to the mall and spotted this cutie
and couldn't believe that she smiled right at them.
When they got closer, she sure looked much older;
maybe eleven and going on ten.
We-ta-ta, oh-la-la, oh-Ma-ma, oh-Pa-pa.
We-ta-ta, oh-la-la, oh-my-Pa-pa.
Christmas, Christmas is coming.
They better be good or else Santa won't come.
Last year was very troublesome:
that's when the ants in their ant farm got loose.
We-ta-ta, oh-la-la, oh-Ma-ma, oh-Pa-pa.
We-ta-ta, oh-la-la, oh-my-Pa-pa. (Gradually slower)
