Song Description

To me, 'From My Heart' is a refreshing upbeat song about a husband describing how much he appreciates his wife. This song is about my wife and is 'From My Heart' :)

Story Behind the Song

My wife has such a great heart and is always helping and caring for others and expects nothing in return. She inspired me to write her this song and I played 'From My Heart' for her on Valentine's day 2012. I recorded it in 2015 and it will appear on my album 'A Journey" released in September 2015.

From My Heart

I'll try now to express to you the kind of woman that you are
You understand and possess warm words
Much more to give from your jar

Let me sing to you from my heart
How beautiful I see and know you are

The smile you had when we first met
I remember it like it's now
Seems always to radiate the room
Together we declared a vow

Let me sing to you from my heart
How beautiful I see and know you are

*You are the one
Heaven sent and so much fun
You've got what it takes
For their sake you give your love
Unto others as unto you
Happy joyful sweet and kind
You're a tender jewel from the good Lord's mine

A vital part of my changed life
I hoped someday to see it through
We've both been there and back again
To get here it's what we had to do

Let me sing to you from my heart
How beautiful I see and know you are

All the times you were hurting
Seem to go on and on
Changing winds have been blowing
Your heart shines like the sun
