The bass line is really cool. The song in general reminds of the Talkin Heads. I think its a cool song and can picture a nice video to it. It can do well in the right place.

    - Oedirac

Cool, unique sound with a good beat and a nice lively vibe. Ideal arrangement for a piece like this.

Lyrics

verse:
Waiting and hating these people and this place
that's separating me from your love
dreaming and scheming of your passionate screaming
dreaming, dreaming, dreaming of when your close to me
yeah under the stars and down by the sea

chorus:
while I was away I spent all my nights and all of my days
yes changing my ways and thinking of you and when I'm free
to walk out the door, walk out the door
and take your hand and walk in the sand
yeah under the stars and down by the sea

bridge...
You were there for me when the system wasn't fair to me

chorus:
while I was away I spent all my nights and all of my days
yes changing my ways and thinking of you and when I'm free
to walk out the door, walk out the door
and take your hand and walk in the sand
yeah under the stars and down by the sea
