Story Behind The Song
Finally, in 2011 in response to a dream, I traveled to Egypt once more, visited the monastery and climbed Mt. Sinai on the path to my empowerment.
Song Description
The Road to St. Catherine's is a bluesy New Age guitar instrumental in response to the religious artwork of the Sinai monastary exhibited at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles. Some day it may even have lyrics!
During my trip to Egypt in 1991, I traveled to the Sinai Peninsula, but stopped short of St. Catherine's monastery where Moses is believed to have received the Ten Commandments on Mt. Sinai.
Then in 2007, the golden iconic artwork of St. Catherine's came to me on loan to the J. Paul Getty Museum.

Lyrics
The Road to St. Catherine's
Preliminary chorus:
The road to St. Catherine's is barren and dry,
Though I met her there once in the sky,
The road to St. Catherine's winds through the earth,
As I walk it though I wonder why,
I've begged and I've pleaded you'd open the door,
On the road to St. Catherine's inside,
But then on the road I found silver and gold,
As I conquered my fear and my pride,
On the road to St. Catherine's...
