Story Behind The Song
I've always intuited I may return to the island of St. John with a message at the end of my Odyssean journey of hardship, healing and enlightenment. Now in 2017, I'm sharing this music with the people of St. John to inspire them during their time of suffering and hardship in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. As the storm approached, like "The Tempest," I had the eerie feeling my return is about to commence. Although I can't put my finger on it, the best I can do is share this music, my love and best wishes for the people of St. John during their recovery. "I took the chance that you won't forgive me for the fall, But after I've risen again we'll both be standing tall."

Lyrics
The ferry docks as the sun sets orange upon the sea,
I leave my old dreams behind it doesn't bother me,
For here on the island I come to rest and be reborn,
Now that I've sailed on the sea my heart's no longer torn,
refrain:
So if you hear my cry out loud,
Don't you know it won't be long,
I'm coming home to you,
And though I've got the word,
That I'm no longer wanted,
I have to have the faith,
In the man I will become,
And leave behind the fear I can't allow,
Here in St. John,
I pray it will be true,
It won't be long,
I'm coming home to you,
-
The bougainvilleas in bloom the turquoise ocean blue,
I cast my fears to the wind my thoughts return to you,
I took the chance that you won't forgive me for the fall,
But after I've risen again we'll both be standing tall,
refrain:
