I like the lead vocals and the female backing vocals as well, very cool beat and a very clean sound. There's a lot of truth in the lyrics too!
I thought this was an excellent recording, really seems to be true to the singer's unique voice, and the guitar sounds really great. I thought the harmonies were really cool, specifically in the bridge like build up in the middle. Lyrically a very strong song, great folky feel. The ending is spectacular as well.
Fun story, I think many of us feel like that.....But don't we know they will all one day be in our shoes.........I have the children and they have children I hope I am around long enough to see what is next. Loved the harmony
