Song Description

desigened to empower people to rise above small difficulties of life and to realize that less may be more

Story Behind the Song

I wrote this as a thank you to my '\"guardian angel" or "inner voice". After losing all I had financially, I realized that I didn't need very much after all.

Lyrics

THERE?S AN ANGEL
Mulhearn/Pronovost/Stanchfield

Verse 1:
There?s an angel on my shoulder,
She?s been whispering in a voice clear.
She?s got some different information
Tryin? to talk me off this ledge here.
And I?m feeling stronger,
Talk a little longer.

Chorus:
I guess I never needed that much money
I guess I never needed to be ten feet tall.
Gotta get closer to the water
Take a little time for me and that?s all.

Verse 2:
Starting over
Kinda had no choice in the matter
Gunna build a smaller boat and push off shore
(Push a little more)
To find a deeper sense of being,
Same thing everybody?s looking for.
Make your own miracle.
Ease up and you?ll pull through.

Chorus:
I guess I never needed that much money
I guess I never needed to be ten feet tall.
Gotta get closer to the water
Take a little time for me and that?s all.
Take a little time for me!

Chorus:
Guess I never needed that much money
No, I guess I never needed any much money
Guess I never needed to be ten feet tall.
?Cause there?s an angel sitting here giving me the call
Gotta get closer to the water
Got to get back closer to the water
Gotta learn to rise up when I fall
Take a little time for me and that?s all.
Guess I never needed that much money
Guess I never needed guess I never needed any much money
Guess I never needed to be ten feet tall.
Gotta have to learn to rise up when I fall
Gotta get closer to the water
Yes, sir gunna? have to rise up, gunna? have to rise up when I fall.
