Story Behind The Song
This is the first part of a longer version of this piece titled, simply, "Soft Summer Day". The second part is similar with a few added nuances to extend the nostalgic experience. I am composing an album of short instrumental pieces, and this is one of them.
Song Description
This is a song that makes you long for a lazy, hot summer day. There are summer sounds in the air . . . cicadas . . . perhaps a distant, indistinct sound of something in the city.
