Song Description

One of Adam's sweetest songs - it's a gem-- and Adam is a gem too!

Story Behind the Song

We met Adam at a rondevous/re-enactment festival/gig and immediately hit it off. He lives in Mpls/St.Paul, is one hell of a guitar player and teacher and writes great tunes - and is our friend.

Lyrics

I never thought I'd fall in love again
until I thought about you
and I knew it was love

I never thought I'd take a chance again
until I chanced upon you
and I knew it was love

I could talk to a doctor I could get some pills
I could find a sugar daddy to pay my bills
I could spend a fortune on a place to live
but nothing holds a a candle to the lovr you give

I told my self I'd never fall in love again
until I thought about you
and I knew it was love

there've been lots of songs written bout the power of love
the moon up in the sky, the stars above
there've been lots of songs written about the heart of flame
but I can top them all just by saying your name

I told myself I'd never fall in love again
until I thought about you, I fussed and fought about you
then got real hot about you
and I knew it was love
