Story Behind The Song

I saw a listing a few years ago in my Taxi listings that said a music publisher was looking for songs about addiction. So I thought, why don't I write one and record it. By the time I had it finished the listeing had ended but I have had an unbelievable amout of positive feedback from hit Nashville writers as well as the audience about his song. My dad has played it for a bunch of his songwriter friends in Nashville and thay all think it's a hit. I just need to get it to the right people. I think it would be a good song for Brad Paisley or Dirks Bentley. Other say it's right down Keith Urban's road... I hear George Strait singing it. With the Alt Country genre slowly gaining momentum, an established star could take this to the people
