Song Description

This song relies heavily on CS-80 synthesizer sounds and a simple driving bassline.

Story Behind the Song

The CS-80 was one of the primary synths Vangelis used in many of his early compositions. This type song was requested by a documentary on atomic particles and the universe.

I really like this. Very good arrangement and mix. Interesting, dark and moody melody. I like the deep sequenced bass throughout and the ethereal strings above. Reminds me of "House of Cards" theme by Jeff Beal. Could be used in a sci-fi movie or TV series.

A very atmospheric piece, in which I can hear the influence of Vangelis. Some very nice chord progressions. This would work well as a soundtrack in a movie, especially one with a slightly retro/1980s subject matter.
