Song Description

Guitar driven hard rock instrumental with an Eastern feel that sounds similar to surf rock. This song is semi-fast and agressive. The instruments: guitar, bass and drums, are all recorded at loud levels. The bass jumps around while the cymbals spalsh and the guitar floats along with a driving rythm. There is a dorian lead guitar part and then the song mellows, just before the end. It ends hard and fast.

Story Behind the Song

I wrote this song after surfing at Pismo Beach on a wild day. The waves were huge and was was getting pounded. The rythm was in my head the whole time I was in the water. As soon as I got home, I got out the guitar and put together the tune. It has been used for a couple of local surf videos in Santa Barbara.
