Someday Providence is not your typical band. Voted as "Breakthrough Band of the Year" in both the Providence Phoenix and Motif Magazine listener polls, they draw on all types of genres to create a sound all its own: a modern rock blend of styles that is new yet still rooted in the past.

Someday Providence has been recognized as a serious act in their home state of RI, sharing the stage with nationally recognized bands such as Monty (featured on the Warped Tour) and M-80. In June 2006 they scored a hit on local radio station 95.5 WBRU, which climbed to #3 on the stations 'most requested songs' chart. They have played almost every club in the Providence scene (including Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel) and a few in the Boston and New York area as well. Recently, the band has teamed up with RIAA certified gold record producer Dave Pezza for their debut album due out now.
