Simon Reid is a freelance song writer and producer currently based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Regularly collaborating with writers and artists across the UK and in the US, Simon has developed a strong body of work, spanning numerous genres including, Pop, Rock, Country, R&B, Classical, Electronica, Dance, Urban, Folk, World.

Since graduating with Honours in Popular Music in 2006 from Edinburgh Napier University, he has produced a track for ABC Family's '10 Things I Hate About You'; performed live on BBC1 with The Wanted; co-written a song for The British Red Cross; met and performed for the late Barbara Orbison and the Orbison family in London as part of a Roy Orbison Tribute release; co-written a song which won 1st place in The Pacific Songwriting Competition; and was awarded a place on the BBC Songwriters' Academy 2008.
