My music is a blend brought about from growing up in Meridian, MS, home of Jimmie Rodgers, the father of Country Music, the heavy influence of Elvis and the folk music of John Denver and others. You can't be from Mississippi without hearing the blues and gospel music. I write and sing some of all. I sing with a unique group "MOUSAI", three ladies of song, all singer- songwriters, with similar yet different styles. All soloists, all harmonize. We utilize guitar, live keyboard, flute, clarinet, harmonica, accordion with our lyrics.
