Shady Rosy is a Canadian songwriting duo based in the Toronto area.

It is comprised of Tony Laviola - bass player, co-writer and arranger and Louise Peacock poet/songwriter/singer.

Tony Laviola and Louise Peacock joined forces in 2006 and began writing songs together. In 2008 they finished and released an eclectic Country style album called Shady Country Lanes - all original material and only bass and voice.

They were initially happy with the songs and the sound, but will not try doing something like that again!

Their next project was to record a Blues album - this project, Surreal Memphis Blue, was released December 1/10 and can be found here at Broadjam under www.broadjam.com/Fathappyandblue
