SAMUEL B. LUPOWITZ is a composer, arranger, lyricist, bassist, keyboardist, vocalist, and writer of flowery prose. A native of Reading, PA, he currently studies English and music at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. Sam has been involved in rock, jazz, and marching bands, theater groups, and other arts organizations in a variety of capacities, and currently focuses his attention on writing pop/rock songs, composing for musical theater, and arranging choral and instrumental works for schools.
Sam's historical rock musical, The Handsomest Man in America, made its debut in a 2009 workshop at Reading's Genesius Theatre. Following rewrites and further productions, it is currently in consideration for a number of festivals in 2011. More information is available at www.handsomestman.com.
