Dup Crosson is the architect and sole songwriter of Saint Solitude, a project that has evolved from an early incarnation of sparse, wintry Thom Yorke-esque solo material to a high-volume loop act, and then to indie-pop power trio and beyond. SS has released 3 full-length albums of self-described "bittersweet fuzz" and is releasing a new collection of instrumentals, Flux Camoufleurs, Volume I, in February 2015.
SS has toured all over the U.S. including the CMJ Music Festival and opening for Ted Leo & the Pharmacists. In 2014, Crosson played drums in Lady Lamb the Beekeeper across the U.S. supporting Typhoon and wrote theme music for the short film Imaginary Inhabitants.
