A Korean-Chinese, Born in 1983, Growing up in a very musical family in the city of YanJi, China, Bong holds a Bachelor of Music from The Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and he is currently studying for his Master degree at Shepherd School of Music. Bong's private teachers have included Choi Yong-Jin, Hei Jian, Chen Gang, Ding Ying, Zhao Xiao Hong(Piano).

Bong's current projects include a film scoring "Jing Wu Men" which released on June 2008, directed by Fu Hua Yang, famous actress Fan Bing Bing and actor Chen Xiao Chun were involved. A TV play "Ying Xiong Wu Ming" was released on May 2008 and broadcast nationwide, directed by Mao Wei Ning, actors include Tang Guo Qiang and Liu Jin.

Bong released his commercial TVC works, which can be found on many TV programs and radio station play lists including Haagen-Dazs, Cadillac, O'Real, Ford, KFC, Honda, Suzuki and so on. In addition, Bong has received many honors for his music. Bong is featuring not only on motion pictures but on pop songs. His library of genres, including such types as contemporary pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, Bossa Nova, Dance and Electronic, continues to expand as he receives more exposure to music.

Bong is currently residing in Los Angeles, California.
