Worship Pastor & Singer/Songwriter

I started singing publicly at age 4. Inextricably influenced by the a cappella singing of my Mennonite upbringing, I cut my permanent teeth on bluegrass and sharpened them on the new wave, pop-punk and progressive rock of the 80's. The result is a guitar-oriented pop rock sound with tight harmonies and energetic rhythm.

But my passion is beyond music. In ’92 my experiences as a fulltime alternative club band musician eventually brought me to the end of myself, and to an encounter with Jesus Christ that transformed my life at the core. Today, as Worship Pastor to Eastridge Church, I have the privilege of spending my time and energy leading others to that same encounter.

I'm a Worship Pastor by call and conviction. I sing, I play guitar, I write songs, I make music with all my being. But most importantly, I'm just an enthusiastic worshiper who examines himself daily before God, and have been given a grace to put that experience to music.
