Been on hold!

It has been a long road to this point in my life and for the most part it hasn't always been straight and smooth. Most of my life has been consumed by working for the man and putting my love of music on hold. I'm sure there are some that might suggest I spend more time watching TV and less time picking the guitar. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and if that is the case it doesn't bother me any nor will it stop me.

I grew up a Stepson living in a track home in California. The houses were painted different colors as not to get them confused. All of the trees had been replaced with light polls that could awaken the neighborhood if struck with hammer. Even then I was wanting to make noise of some kind but gave up the pursuit of becoming a percusionest after being chased one night by a patrol car. I decided to just play my guitar and leave the light polls alone. What sustain they had though and by the way I did escaped.

While in High School I made some like minded friends and we put together a little band. On Saturdays we would get together and jam. The neighborhood got to hear more of my noise but at least it wasn't at 2:00am. Then at the tender age of 17 my parents sent me off to the Marine Corps. That put everything on hold. A marriage, babbies and the pursuit of money put music on the back burner. I'm a grandfather now and have the time to dedicate to music. I hope I can strike a chord or two and end on a good note.

I have never sold any of my music and maybe there is a reason for that. Regardless of the out come there is only one thing that will cause me to stop crafting songs. When I can no longer pick up the guitar.
