In early 2002, after 132 shows, a catalog of over 100 songs, and a fast-selling CD, Won't Fall Down (Wave Records/The Orchard), with Northern Virginia's The Plunge, singer-songwriter-guitarist Rob Flowers decided to re-focus on developing a small recording studio and writing new songs. Three years later, his solo release promises to contain his best work yet. Rock guitar almost takes a back seat to pop song craft in the vein of REM, Fountains of Wayne, Better Than Ezra, Tommy Keene, Toad The Wet Sprocket, and Gin Blossoms.

The debut CD, Memory Random, was released July 5, 2005.

Flu Song, Tell Me, and Midnight Sun earned Honorable Mention in the Rock/Alternative Rock category of the 2004 Billboard World Songwriting Contest.

Tell Me and This Bag is Not a Toy are finalists in the 22nd annual (2005) Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest in the Rock/Alternative category. Both songs finished in the Top 5.
