DJ Speechless is a native Floridian musician and DJ. He was born in Miami, FL 1975 and continues to live in South Florida today. His musical training began when he was 5 years of age and began taking piano lessons from his mom, a classically trained pianist from Barbados. The piano eventually led to the guitar, bass, drums but most importantly 'the distortion pedal'. "The first time I heard a 6-string through a distortion pedal, it was like finding the missing link and I couldn't stop playing." The persistence led him to New England in 1994 to open for such top name acts in rock such as LIVE, Cracker and Counting Crows with his band. In 1995 he moved to Ft. Lauderdale and discovered electro dance music at The Edge. "The energy there gave you fourth winds and there was no stopin' till noon. I quickly fell in love with the music of my favorite DJs and watching other dancers. That's when I knew I wanted to become a DJ and learn how to produce the music they spin."

DJ Speechless is a native Floridian musician and DJ. Lauderdale and discovered electro at The Edge. “I loved the music of my favorite DJs and watching other dancers. That’s when I knew I wanted to become a DJ and learn how to produce the music they spin.” Many handout tapes and cds later, Speechless is pushing his mark as an underground producer and DJ in south florida. He has begun playing LIVE PA sets and is planning to go even further with greater stage acts and more remixes. “Backdoor Records of Hallandale, FL is really where I began to buy vinyl and get into DJ’ing. The rich synth sounds and incredible song-writing skills of DJ Icey and other Florida DJ's really got me hooked and I was a vinyl junkie from there." Speechless’ first vinyl release is out on Backdoor Records.
