Rita has been performing professionally since the late 70’s. The music she writes and performs is a fusion of Blues, Rock and Reggae. She also produces music at her own Babylon Studios in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. Her voice has been compared to Chrissie Hyde of the Pretenders by many including Jonathan Sutton of 105.5 Triple M of Madison. Her song “That Jealousy” put her band at the time, “Flippin Westies” in the Top 8 for Project M in 2013. She is currently is performing with IMOK, a three piece all woman trio, the duo PurpleO, other times you may find her performing solo or sitting in with friends from other local bands, or performing at Jams and open mics in the area.
