Born in Boston, Portuguese-Canadian tenor-guitarist Remigio Pereira studied classical guitar with Patrick Roux in 1995 and voice in 1996 with Maria Pellegrini. In he was chosen among 57 guitarists to receive the Domain Forget Music Academy Scholarship and was a featured artist at the inauguration concert of the Francoys- Bernier Concert Hall in Quebec, Canada. He performed in master classes of Hubert Kappel, Roberto Aussel, Fabio Zanon, Norbert Kraft, Dale Kavanaugh. Recent engagements have taken him to Portugal, Italy, USA, and Canada with various orchestras including National Arts Centre Orchestra, Centuries Opera Orchestra, Canadian Centennial Orchestra, L'orchestre regional du conservatoire du Quebec, I Virtuosi di Toronto and the Opera Lyra Ottawa Orchestra in theatres including The National Arts Centre, The Ford Centre For Performing Arts, Markham Theatre, Oakville Centre for Performing Arts , The National Gallery of Canada, and National Library Auditorium .
