The Rackjaw Vent

I just want to say to all A&R people,reviewers and all you artists out there that a good song is a good song.I don't care if its done with bagpipes.This genre stuff and whats current in todays marketplace is bologna.I don't understand the corporate side of music and their reluctance to try anything other than whats already out there.You want Coldplay type songs? Why? Theres already a Coldplay.I wish someone would have the guts to think outside the box for once and listen for good songs.Songs..Remember them?Songs have a hook and a melody,not just a certain sound.Music is creativity not duplication.And it is true,"Video killed the radio star".Just venting my opinion because your bypassing a lot of artists with good material that just don't fit into your carbon copy,cardboard cutout mold.I guess thats why music is in the state its in right now.Don't give up fellow artists,there just might be someone with importance that agrees with me.Thank goodness for indie labels.I'm probably cuttting my own throat here and being labeled as a person with an attitude.Not the case at all,I just feel like its time to break the mold.I congratulate every artist and songwriter here for trying and believing in themselves.Best of luck and while I'm here supposedly to talk about me and my great achievements ,try my song"Test of Love".It SHOULD be a hit..Ha ha{confidence is important too}.I have a CD out called Real Life Drama..if u want a copy contact me>I've had success on GarageBand.com also.
