After writing songs for several years, Roger prayed that one day his music would be heard. The only thing missing was a band to perform it. Roger’s youngest son, Josh, began showing an interest in guitar at age 17. In an attempt to encourage his new found interest, Roger gave Josh his Alvarez guitar. A month later, with determination and ambition leading the way, Josh had the makings of a band member. About five years later, Roger’s oldest son, Adam, decided he was ready to put his talent to use. The band, Purserverance, was formed. Ready to take the next step, Roger sold his house to in order to finance their band. After countless hours of practice and approximately three years of performances at clubs and parties, Purserverance decided to cut their first CD of original songs. Roger’s dream for others to hear his music is finally a reality, but why stop there? Right now, they are playing clubs and parties… next stop, radio stations and concert halls.
