I am a mature lover of many genres of music. I describe my taste as eclectic (which my friends tell me means I will listen to any old sh*t) As I type I am listening to Iris Dement. My absolute idol is Leonard Cohen and I believe my 40 years plus of listening and collecting all his albums was rewarded when on the night before his concert in the O2, I logged into Ticketmaster and secured 2 seats in the middle of the Front Row. The concert was just for me and I never noticed the 10's of 1000's of fans siiting behind me. Other favourites are Tom Russell, the probably not well known Anthony John Clarke (This man deserves a wider audience) Also being Irish I am also biased as regards all members of the Sands Family and the sweet voice of Deirdre Bonner.
