Big Dreamers is a group founded by Poet. It is composed of Poet and Bell. Bell is Poet's younger brother. "I remember it like yesterday, we were just messing around recording on a tape recorder," said Poet. That is how the rapping started. They use to record songs on their tape recorder just for the fun of it, until it really turned into an hobby. Poet stated that he was surprised at all the positive feedback they received from their songs, even though they were recorded on a tape recorder. "I wondered what it would sound like if we go to a real studio." Before you know it, they started making their own instrumentals and going to a studio. It was so fun for them, they made one song, two songs, three songs, by the time they knew it, the've recorded over 30 songs. Therefore Big Dreamers compiled 15 of their best songs into an album called "Flows Of a Midnight Sun (foams)." Foams was a great album, but it happened by accident, out of just an hobby, it wasn't really formated. Several hundreds of the album was distributed locally. They performed at several of the Maryland colleges like Bowie State University and University of Maryland College Park, and there was the foundation of Big Dreamers. Poet noticed that they trully have tallent, and their sound is different. He wanted to pursue this a little further. He wanted a methodological album, something that is thoughtfully arranged. At that moment, Bell's state of mind about rapping is just as an hobby, or recreational. That's when Poet started on a solo album, since he wanted this more than just an hobby. He saw the potential.
