Born in the birthplace of Hip-Hop; Bronx, New York, Jason "Phenom" Pagan was exposed to music at an early age. As Jason's passion for music grew through the years, he was first exposed to the art of music when he was first introduced to a producer/lyricist through his older sister, Christina, who taught him how to produce beats. After producing beats for a couple of months, Jason began to freestyle to the beats as he was creating them. Eventually his free flowing freestyles evolved into songwriting and by age 14, he emerged to the stage persona "Phenom". Phenom began to become very industrious and instead of going to school, built his own personal studio within his apartment where he lived with his mother, sister, brother, and grandmother who Phenom says was "very influential in his growth during his teen years" to work on his music day and night.
