About Peggy

When you hear Peggy White's smooth, resonant voice you will wonder where she has been all your life.

Peggy grew up in a small town in the Ottawa Valley. As far back as she can remember her mother and father were belting out country tunes in their dining room. She and her four siblings carried on their parents love of music. Although Peggy has branched out in her writing, her country roots still simmer in the heart of her tunes with her delivery of a rootsy blend of folk and country.

Peggy's 2002 debut solo CD, 'Fair Is Fair' charted in the top 20 on the Roots Music Report Folk Chart in Europe and the US for five weeks, and in the top 100 on the Americana Chart in the US for five weeks. It was voted in at #12 on the EMS chart in Europe. Peggy has toured Canada and Australia several times.
