I have always written music. The collection of twelve songs on CADENCES OF LONELINESS represents a small portion of that endless stream spanning the years 1977 to 2006. It is my hope that the harmony driven melodies of these songs place the listener in the moment as "vignettes of emotion".

Most writing, I suppose, is infused with the autobiographical, but only one of these songs is, in fact, just that. The style of the music, however, is truly personal and exposes my beliefs about what the craft of songwriting should be.
