Papa Joe Grappa is a guitarist who writes and sings humorous, topical blues in the Los Angeles area. Papa Joe is backed by a stellar group of musicians who've played and recorded with Bonnie Raitt, Steve Miller, Dave Mason, Van Morrison and Bruce Springsteen. He's accompanied on vocals by the Sweet Inspirations, backup singers to Elvis Presley. He's played clubs in New York, London, Paris, Memphis, Philadelphia, Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. His music is being played on Sirius Satellite Radio, as well as on stations across the US, Canada, France and Belgium. He has also been featured on Dr. Demento. In the daytime, he is head writer for the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, under the pseudonym Joe Medeiros.

Papa Joe Grappa is unique and has been described as “the square peg in the round hole of the blues.”
