The Life of OBP
Started in October of 2003, the band was a combination of like-minded musicians. O.B.P. (short for One Bird Powerline) consisted of four guys: Two Guitars, Bass, and Drums. Christopehr Moody (VOX,GUITARS) and Mark Froeschner (Bass, Vox) were the soul of the group. The two most contributers of the band.
O.B.P. went on to be runner up in the 2004 Battle of the Bands (held by Cy-Falls) and then played a few more gigs. But the uprising was cut short by personal problems, and the firing of the drummer and guitarist.
Mark and Chris after recovering from personal issues decided to take a more fun outlook on life towards the music of OBP.
Just recently a drummer by the name of Jon Stroud, was added to the band, and is showing promising input and vibe to the bands "NEW" Trio-Sound, Fun-Punk rock.
Combing all the inlfluences: Blink 182, MxPx, NoFx, Sum-41 etc... along with their own harmonic surf-rock style. O.B.P. hopes to move on from being a local suburban band to something more in the music world...
