Bio
Noam Weinstein is a Boston-born, New York-based artist called "thrilling" by The Nashville Rage, "delightful" by The Boston Phoenix, and "utterly unique" by Performing Songwriter. His latest album, Clocked, was released on Leap Day, 2012; it was produced by Mike Viola and features Larry Goldings, Steve Nistor, and Sebastian Steinberg. Noam's previous project, 2010's Found Alive, was recorded live at The Living Room in Manhattan. Other appearances have included South by Southwest in Austin, CMJ and The Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York, and various clubs across America and Europe. (Noam's albums have also been distributed by small labels in Germany and Japan.) His song I Can Hurt People was featured on the Showtime network during its program Weeds, and two other songs, Planet and Yesterday's Weather, were finalists in the 2011 USA Songwriting Contest. In addition to his own recordings, Noam has been honored to have songs of his recorded by Greta Gertler, Jess Tardy, Lin McEwan, and Naomi Sommers, and performed live by Mieka Pauley, Matt Kanelos, and Anita Suhanin.
