The half Swedish-half Peruvian R&B sensation Nathalie Bretoneche has taken the Miami music scene by storm. Nathalie is a 23 year old singer/songwriter & music producer that's already creating lots of buzz in the Florida State, she has recently released her debut album "Livin' the life" (september 23rd 09) Involved in the project are luminaries Arthur "Arty" White (guitar) & Rufus Jackson (bass)touring musicians for ALICIA KEYS. Her album is being considered as the work that will redefine R&B. Bretoneche wrote all the songs in the album created the arrangements, and directed every aspect of the album. BIOGRAPHY

Bretoneche hits the stage and immediately the crowd is drawn to her. This girl can sing and sing with a power and edge to her voice that is unmistakably funky. Bretoneche was born to a Swedish mother and Peruvian father and raised in Spain. She speaks five languages and learned music through the classic trained ear of her mother; yet developed her style based on the rock, funk and R & B music that her father loves to encounter.

Bretoneche says, "I love to sing. It is everything I am and I am excited, so excited about this project. I am only 23, but I have worked my whole life for this moment. I know that people will feel me in every song."

The vocalist, who is also the project's producer, composer, vocal arranger and songwriter, influences are artists like Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Earth wind and fire, Alicia Keys, Donny Hathaway... For old school fans, you will also notice that Bretoneche can move through a range smoothly reminiscent of Minnie Riperton.

LIVIN' THE LIFE, her first album, combines funk, R & B/SOUL, hip-hop. Bretoneche's voice serving as the icing on each slice of this musical cake. THE MAN I WANT, a delightful listing of what a woman wants in a sincere relationship, AVERAGE JOE, is a mimicking tune poking fun at those who lose a good thing because their support in rough spots was questionable; ANNIVERSARY, sure to be a favorite for love song aficionados implores us to remember that love is not about the material things but the heart things, I GAVE MY ALL - comes at you hard with Jimi Hendrix-influenced guitar licks coupled with hip hop beats to tell a tale of love not respected and the title cut LIVING THE LIFE is a progressive POP/funk piece that celebrates determination. There is also an acoustic song called "I'll stand up again" where Nat talks about how she will keep on fighting for her dreams and building strength, and to finalize "Manana" a spanish bonus track.
