Nate has performed at many field parties (Renegades) in California, playing with anyone that had a pair of turn tables. In 1994 he moved to Texas and continued to throw Renegades under his own production company. His favorite spot to shop for music was at Neurovox records in Fort Worth, TX. At the time, Nate was also going to College and worked the #1 spot on the local College radio station, 88.3 FM. In 1997 he played at his first party in Texas, it was for Moon Kid Productions (MKP). Mikey, the owner of MKP, was a friend of his and had asked him to play. He booked him at the Dallas club, under his old DJ name, N8 from San Francisco. The party was called "Juice." That night all his records were stolen, a crushing blow to an aspiring turn table technician. Being a bit discouraged about vinyl, Nate decided to take his hand on CD mixing.
