Based out of San Diego, Mark Suhonen started his musical artwork at the young age of nine. Since then, Suhonen has developed and built upon a new way of putting rhythm into music via computer systems. Using his vast and lengthy knowledge of rhythm from numerous past experiences, Suhonen has incorporated the sounds of drum corps, electronic, eclectic, and traditional drums into today's contemporary pop and electronica music. With the matured, technical abilities in using rhythm, Suhonen has expanded into a new sound that has not previously been tapped into. This sound thus far created is known as "rhythm base". Suhonen's definition of "rhythm base" is simply put as music with extremely inventive and technical rhythm used and added to today's modern pop sounds with the rhythm being a primary focus in the music.
