Hey there, I am Michael Smith. I have been writing and performing for over 30 years across the country. I have written several top ten hits for the internationally known reggae group, The Ark Band. I also wrote a number one hit called "Love is What We Need", off of their Second album titled the same. I was born and raised in Columbus , Ohio and now reside in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Mn. I have had the fortunate privilege to tour and grace the stage with some of the greatest musicians today. Troy jones (drummer of Slave, After Seven,Foley and Whitney Houston). I am starting to write and perform out again after a 10 year hiatus. I have started to play with a few groups in town. Universoul, BKS, Innocent reggae band to name a few.
