Alan Barlam, the man who IS Mr. Ben Daiho is NOT dead !!! Contrary to the rumors. He is creating, producing and engineering with passion,determination and focus. As for style, think of it as The Beatles and Pink Floyd hanging with a heavy rock band. Other endeavors are in the Blues,Country and Pop genres and will be offered. Alan's music is "alternative" singer/songwriter. Truly a departure from the average or status quo.

Bio for Alan Barlam

Hello.
My name is Alan Barlam and once upon a time I was in the music business.
I was in two Metal bands from the mid 80's through the early 90's.
The bands were Hellion and Armored Saint and I was a guitarist, songwriter and backing vocalist for these bands.I have also been involved with many other projects and studio recordings in many styles of music.
I performed many live shows from clubs to arena's and toured with some of the biggest acts of the day, such as Metallica,Whitesnake and Dio to name a few.
While a member of Hellion in particular I participated in several successful world tours.
I recieved a lot of exposure in Europe including selling out the original Marquee club in London an impressive three nights in a row.
I also recieved coverage in magazines world wide including Kerrang,Metal Hammer and numerous others.
I was co producer of four studio albums with Hellion as well as being the main musical contributor.
Several songs i have written have been included in movies and on H.B.O. and Showtime.
I was also seen in two videos on MTV's Headbangers Ball.

For various reasons I had "exiled" myself from music for a long, long time until recently when I finally "woke up". Contrary to the rumors I am very much alive !!!

I feel I have a very intense and interesting story to tell and the musical ability to deliver the goods either through songwriting,performing,engineering,mixing or producing.

I have a catalog of music in a variety of genres which I am currently producing.I play all the instruments and perform all vocals. Occasionally I use a drummer for the more involved rhythms. The process is not as fast as I would like due to a little thing called life but if I am able to make music my source of income I have no doubt as to how prolific and productive I can be.
